July – Healing Unresolved Grief
July — the deep heart of winter. And this month, we’re walking into territory that most of us carry more of than we’ve perhaps acknowledged. 🔥
We’re exploring grief — but perhaps not in the way you’d expect.
Because grief isn’t only the profound, recognised loss. It also lives in the quieter places. The version of your life you imagined you’d be living by now. The friendship that faded without a formal ending. The chapter that closed before you felt ready. The dream you set aside, quietly, telling yourself maybe later — until later stopped feeling possible.
The version of yourself you had to leave behind in order to become who you are now.
These are all forms of grief. And in many ways, the unacknowledged kind — the grief that never got to be named or witnessed, that was set aside because life kept moving — is often the kind that sits most persistently in the body and in our patterns.
People who are doing conscious work tend to carry a particular kind of grief — the grief of awareness. Of seeing clearly, and knowing that you can’t unknow what you now know. Of having grown past certain things, certain places, certain versions of who you were — and feeling the tenderness of that transition alongside the freedom of it.
The deep quiet of winter is exactly the right container for this kind of honest, compassionate exploration.
I’m honoured to walk this one with you. 💛
