May – Prosperity & Abundance: Week 1

Something to sit with this week… 🔥

Every one of us is running a money story — a set of beliefs about abundance, worthiness, and what’s possible financially that we absorbed long before we were old enough to consciously evaluate it.

For some people the story is “money is always tight and probably always will be.” For others it’s “wanting more than enough is greedy.” Or “money causes conflict.” Or “people like us don’t accumulate wealth.” Or the subtler but equally powerful: “I’m not really the kind of person who…”

These aren’t random thoughts. They’re conclusions drawn from real experiences — often from watching the adults around us, from what was discussed openly or kept in tight silence, from what happened when money was present and what happened when it wasn’t.

And here’s what makes them so persistent: they feel like facts rather than stories. They feel like observations about how things are rather than inherited beliefs about how things might be.

    This week’s prompt:

What money story did you absorb growing up — and when you look honestly, can you see it still running in your life today? Where does it show up?

Share as much or as little as feels right. Even just naming it is a significant piece of work. 💛
